95 coupe for sale (MD/PA/WV)
Well I finally got my GTI so my civic is now for sale. Here is the run down...
-1995 Civic EX
-2 Door, 5 Speed, Frost White
-completely stock d16z6
-121,xxx miles (low for a '95)
-The plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor, tranny fluid, fuel filter, rear ABS speed sensors, and thermostat all were replaced at 95k miles
-The timing belt, water pump, idler, and v-belts were all replaced at 100k miles
-The safc II that is shown in the pics will not be included (unless buyer wants it)
-The car is 100% stock other than shifter bushings, a b&m short throw with ****, and the safc II which was just installed since I had it laying around from my old car.
The good...
-The motor runs very good and has low miles.
-Doesn't seem to leak or burn oil
-Gets excellent gas mileage (near 40mpg highway!!!)
The bad...
-most recently and probably the biggest issue is last week the clutch started acting up. i can still drive it but it has nearly no pedal feel and the clutch begins to grab much sooner than it did. It is a little tough to get into gear from neutral as well. I assume the clutch is going bad and from what i have seen, OEM parts seem reasonably priced.
-the infamous honda rust is there on both rear quarter panels
-it needs 3 new tires (i just put one new tire on last week from a flat)
-it needs new shocks
-needs a new horn
-the a/c doesn't blow cold air (i don't know if it needs charged or a new compressor?)
-the car is 14 years old so i am not going to tell you it is a showroom condition car.
i dont really have a set price. kelly blue book shows a price of $2,780 in fair condition. i am willing to take a price a good bit below this as i don't need it sitting around my parents driveway anymore! i would start at $2,000 OBO.
the car is located in hagerstown, MD zip code 21740. The vin is avail upon request. If you have any other questions let me know. Thanks!
