what is the clip on the drivers side harness where it looks like it's blocked off? I just bought a drivers side harness for my 93 civic and it doesn't have one....

 

its the dead-end side.

 

i think its for the injector resistors

 

thats what everyones telling me, but the harness i bought didn't come even with the clip, no cut wires or anything, is it even needed? I'm afraid my car won't start with this harness

 

you need the block off plug that goes into the end. that block off plate thing connects all the leads the pins in the plug together.

 

my harness that i got didn't come stock with even the plug for the clip, i check and there are no cut wires, the only reason i bought it was because mine was all torn up

 

I'm a little lost on just exactly what your question is. Have you got any pics of the harness? particularly the area in question.

 

Do not have access to the harness at the moment, but i drew a picture, the question i am asking is what is the block off clip? The harness that i purchased does not have the clip or the the block off its like the piece never existed on that harness. the picture is of the harness in my car now that has cut wires.

Ok, now I understand, I have never seen that before, I really don't know what to tell you. All the yellow/black wires in the harness go to that plug though if i remember right, find one in the harness and follow it, see where it ends up.

 

i think i'm just gonna test it out and if it doesn't work i'm just going to make one good harness out of two.

 

anyone have any ideas what harness i got?
