94 Civic EX coupe automatic project car for trade? Minor collision/clean title.
My brother drove this car and got clipped in the front right corner. The frame wasn't bent, but the front most sheet metal under the fender was bent. I have that straightened out though.
The good: It runs and drives fine. My brother drove it from the Quad City area (western Illinois) to Omaha Nebraska multiple times before I started working on it. I have a new radiator support panel ready to weld on, a hood, 2 fenders, all the trim and everything to complete the car, along with new front brake discs, pads and a new water pump, timing belt, hoses. The car has a pretty new exhaust, new front tires, new looking CV shafts, a new oil pan gasket, and everything is bone stock except the Pioneer radio and Rockford Fosgate speakers.
The bad: It's green with a red driver's side door off a DX (I still have the EX door, haven't swapped parts over yet), the paint is scuffed up bad from doing bodywork and sanding and I was told it has some kind of issue with the tail lights staying on. The passenger side door handle is sticky, but that could probably be fixed with a little WD40.
For someone with a little time to do bodywork, this could be a nice daily driver.
I don't expect much interest, but if anyone is looking for something like this, I would like to trade for a 5th generation hatchback project, or throw some money in for something. I've lost interest in the coupe, and I don't have a lot of time to work on something I'm ultimately selling anyway.
