Senna's crash on TLC
Did anyone see the show last night that analyzed Senna's death? It was really good. I think the name of the show was countdown to disaster. Man the more I hear about him the more I wish I could have seen him race. Ohh yeah Antonio Banderas is supposed to be doing a movie on his life. I hope it doesn't turn out to be a big streaming pile of pooo.
Here is a cool video of Senna . . . It shows a different side of the tenacious competetor.

Ohh yeah and I'm not buying that **** about the safety car making his tires cool enough to drop his ride height. Not saying his ride height wasn't the cause but, I have footage of his last lap before the crash and his was going at speed for the whole lap. One lap = tire temps up = ride height ok.
I still believe his steering shaft broke. That is the most logical deduction. Williams even admits to filing it down to help get him in the car.
All kinds of good info including telemetry, videos and pics of his death:

I consider myself extremly fortunate to have seen Senna win several Detroit Grands Prix in person. There was a sense of awe watching him (even before I started racing) that I don't get watching Schumacher.

I think I caught the very very end of it - like the last 10 seconds or something...then they started showing something else...
I would've liked to see that.

Look from Schumachers car at Senna's at 2.5 seconds. See the spark under his car?
I thought that corner was smoother than a babies butt.......why are there sparks?

Anybody ever seen in-car of one of Senna's qualifying laps at Monaco?
I can't remember the year of the one I saw (it's probably somewhere on the net), but it's freakin' amazing!

Senna was dead long before Zanardi ever made his way over to F1.
Zanardi was in F1 long before he was in CART. His days with Williams were round 2. He spent time at Lotus and a couple other mid-pack teams before crashing heavily on the exit of Eau Rouge at Spa. He was seriously injured.
I was gonna post a topic about this yesterday, guess I got beat
It was AWESOME show. This shoe beats the AUTOCOURSE videos.
It was commonly believed that the steering shaft broke on Senna's Williams. But this show had some interesting evidence.
Do you guys remember, they(Italian authorities) just gave the car back to Frank Williams like two months ago? They held it in a garage all these years in Italy as an evidence.
That video clip is very good example of Senna's personality. Can you imagine that son of a bitch Schumacher(both brothers) doing that? Matter of fact, M. Schmacher was running behind Senna on that dreadful day in '94 at San Marino.
In reality, I think you'd get fined heavily for what Senna did on the video clip now days.
Anyways, Shmacher brothers took one-two at qualifying this morning

The video " A Star Named Senna" has one lap of Senna's qualifying, where he broke the record five or six times in a row. If you like Senna you'll like this movie.
Also as for the Antonio Banderas movie, I think it will be great for the simple fact that Senna's family is directly involved.
