so I lowered my ej8 today on some skunk2 coilovers and si struts. The ride is freaking beautiful!











and a couple of the before so you can get an idea of the dumpage! haha! yay!

When you say it rides beautiful.... Define "beautiful" because in my experiences, any coilover + Oem shocks = Nightmare.

I'm sorry I'm not freaking ballers like everyone else and I cant do everything at once. I'm just do it little by little. I plan on painting the grille when I get the car painted so that will hopefully be this winter. I'm goin championship white. I also have some 16" slips going on it soon I think. I cant go any lower cause it is a daily and I do live in nashville. but thanks to all the negative comments they just motivate me to not be like you.

yeah I almost got em but I decided against it! those are some sick wheels though. man those are nice. thank for giving me something to obsess over! haha. and integra_661 thank you! I'm so tired of everyone on here telling me how to build my car. I am going to take my time and get it done the way I want it.

 

The car is his guys not yours. Hes the one spending the time and money on it not you. It wouldnt be HIS build if he listened to all you people. And i've known Daniel for a while now... trust me, itll be DOPE when he gets finished with it. I think it looks damn good anyways tho.

Hearing some of these peoples comments in this thread makes me want to part out my car and not even deal with any car related stuff. To much drama over something that's just in the early stages, seriously.... Everyones car has to start somewhere

x2 on that. Looks good though. With a white grille, white lip, and some wheels it should look pretty good. I have a white ej8 also.

 

thats a rodger that on the partin out the car b16b coupe. either that or just not posting on h-t anymore. I will always be on ej8squad site. and also a huge rodger that to painting the lower grille spray2020. I've been meaning to but honestly I'm lazy haha. and i gotta paint the part behind the foglight covers i'm not sure what thats called but I heard some guy call it a brake duct hole? I dunno. I'm just gonna paint the lip and upper grille when I get my car painted cause now its some ugly pearl white but I'm goin championship white. with either white wheels or white and polished lips? and I'm buyn a 5sp swap for 50 bucks this weekend so I'll be installing that soon so I guess this will kinda be like my build thread. but dont subscribe if your expecting me to have it done in a month! this is definately a project and imo projects take time to get right so this will take some time. plus going behind to fix someone else's mess ups put a lil hold on this project as well. and also cause my mommy and daddy dont buy me parts or send my car to a custom tuning shop and say buy whatever! all my work is done by me and friends. and all my parts are bought by me (with the exception of my bad a$$ cf trunk lid that my amazing gf bought me for my b-day). So stay tuned there will be nice parts to come.

 

I agree man... most of the kids on this website cant appreciate a build bc their parents buy them their cars and parts and pay to have the work done. Some of you flamers have prolly never even turned a wrench on your car. A build takes time and money and more then a week. And Daniel, I gotcha anotha new part heading your way tomorrow!

I do agree that the lip should go.. If you scrape its gonna tear the paint off your bumper pretty bad. These plastic lips are poorly constructed and arent really paint friendly just my 02.. The grill could use paint but eh... whatever its no big deal imo..

I can see its a work in progress..
