Default Aftermarket oem bumper

Is there a big difference between aftermarket and straight from honda front bumper? I have an aftermarket one that I'im thinking of getting painted or installed but also thinking of getting one from the dealer instead.

inputs?

aftermarket ones don't have the "integra" thing on the front and probably don't fit as well, but are a great deal cheaper.

most aftermarket bumpers do not fit like the OEM one, its up to you but when i had an aftermarket bumper on my car it annoyed the **** out of me. it may not be that much of a big deal to you though.

btw is your name a counterstrike server or something? lol

ummm ok? if i was asking about the jdm 'oem' front end, i would ask for it by 'jdm front end', since locally, the dealership does not supply it.

Kudo's. That may be so but has nothing to do with the OP lol.

Get an oem used bumper, never buy new since the dealer will rape you pretty good. Unless you have the money then more power to ya. The aftermarket bumpers never fit right and depending whether you are picky or not you will more than likely have some fender gap

Oh, so you mean JDM parts are now "oem" for the cars we have here in America?

OP, you mean aftermarket as in the ones found on ebay which are like oem right?
I had one, really wasn't any different other then being a lot more flexible.

A new OEM Honda 98-01 front bumper is only $239 from Carland Acura http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org Shipping and handling to my zip code (only 3 states away) is less than $23. IMHO that's very reasonable for knowing that the part you're getting should fit perfectly, and knowing that you won't be painting over several previous layers of primer and paint. My front bumper was at least 2 different colors before I got it and put another color on top, so the paint in the Integra letters turned out pretty crappy.

I have considered getting one of those since my 98+ front is kinda hacked up, but I just never have gotten around to spending the money and then having it painted.
