Hey guys im getting a RSX type s 06 in a month and i was thinking of going all out... so i wanted to make it as close to a type r integra as possible would would have to be done motor wise and interior/exterior wise to accomplish this??? thanks to everyone in advance!!

Why don't you take all that money you'd be spending and actually buy a superior car? While RSX's are nice, there are better cars out there.

As soon as you do a full ITR conversion, kiss resale goodbye. It's like flushing money down the toilet. But it's your money, so more power to you.

Or, buy a Type-S, do a few small things to it and enjoy it for what it is.

 

well the biggest changes would be interior, suspension, and the DC5 R chassis is lighter and a bit stronger.
as far as motor the k20z1 is about 10hp less than the K20A type R
your biggest differances would be in the tranny
the K20A tranny has a lighter flywheel, better syncros, Limited slip diff, and shorter gear ratios due to the final drive

if you just wanna type-R out your RSX start by looking at the stuff they sell on icbmotorsport.com
and you could try using this web sites search tool

well i was 17 when i got my type-s and i remember wanting to buy all kinds of type-r parts lol but i think that was mostly because my bro drives a 2000 ITR but im 20 now and i think my car looks better than most of the other kids in my area that drive dc5's

x2. If you want a type r, buy a type r.

 

the cost of an 06-S + full ITR conversion i personally would just but an 02-04 real ITR and floss that.

when i was driving a rusted out ford escort. must be nice kid.

 

Thanks for putting me down gguys!!! lol jk but anyways yea the convertion was an idea but now thanks to allllll the negative feedback ill just get the type s and hook it up a lil and enjoy as it is!!
