Mini me swap on a 93 cx

VX no you shouldn't, you'll have really, really low compression and it will work worse than it did before you started, The CX is fine though, although IMO its more cost effective and easier to just buy a used SOHC vtec engine and drop that in.

There was an issue with some of the very early 92 CX's having pistons with only 2 valve reliefs each. Most of the 92's and all of the 93-95's have regular P06 pistons like a D15B7.
