apples and oranges. unless it's the same dyno and same day it's hard to say. if both of you guys know your car weight and 1/4 mile MPH you could see if there is more of a difference. mustang dynos and dynojets read totally different numbers. how the dyno is setup, air temp, it all comes into play.

also, those crower 1's will really pick up if you can get your compression around the 10:8-1 or 11:1 mark

i ran a 14.9@92mph on a stock GSR with an edelbrock header and K&N filter. the crower cams are good pieces but might not bring you up any HP at all if the bottom end has ring problems. they also do better with at least 10:5-1 compression. i never did do cams when i had a stock motor. have you switched to a single runner manifold yet? since you have hondata moving to an edelbrock, skunk or blox manifold might bring the top end up a good bit. the GSR manifold has some long runners and a small plenum volume.

nice #s but that is a bad time, ive seen stock GSRs run and trap better than that but you probably had a bad launch because you dumped the clutch.

Maybe my brain isn't working correctly at the moment or maybe it's the heat. But if your tuned on crome why do you have a VAFC?
And seeing as how your NA why are you using MSD? Stock Honda ignition will handle 300+ HP.

Not trying to be a dick, just asking. I've kinda been out of the honda game lately working on my truck. Nice numbers either way, and very nice torque curve

it had the msd when i bought it, pretty useless i agree. And i use the VAFC more as a gauge than anything, and adjusting lift engagemnt

100% proof vtec is set too low. why do u think the hp flatlines from 5400-6000? nice try though

Gotcha, I had MSD on my car when I bought it as well. I had nothing but problems out of it till I removed it and swapped dizzy's and wires.

so what's with this vtec business? i haven't actually tried different points on the 1/4 to determine the fastest combo but on a wild *** guess. the 6k point looks good to slightly too high. the motor starts going flat around 5500 and kinda hangs around till vtec hits at 6000. i'm curious why the person who thought that was too low thinks so? the primary lobe is running out of steam around 5500-5600 so it seems logical to argue vtec should be set between there and where it is. why exactly would you stretch a stock GSR cam out even further? just wondering what the reasoning is...

i'm bench racing 'till the machine shop gives me a call & says "it's ready"
