Someone please tell me why the hell they designed such a piece of ****??? They put a manual tensioner on the h23 but then they try to be clever and put a AUTO [freak]ING TENSIONER on their higher end motor??? WHY?? If anyone can help or knows anyone who has a h23 tensioner please pm me thanx

i have some of the stuff for the balance shafts on the manual tensioner, brand new OEM honda parts, just no t-belt shtuffs

I just did that conversion this past weekend. The belt is a major pain in the *** trying to get back on. Now its also tight as hell like others have stated. My tensioner is also adjusted all the way loose. I just hope its not too tight. At least i dont have to worry about the tensioner giving out

 

good **** man! Really tight huh? I just bought the original tensioner again because of time, I need my car back.
