2000 Accord... check engine light and trouble codes
ok my check engine light went on and I was able to get a print out of the codes of P0401 and P1491, I have a list of the possibilites but I am not a mechanic and I'm a little distressed since this is keeping me from getting my new tags because I can't get passed emissions... can anyone help?

I'm assuming its a v6? Call a dealership with your vin # and find out if the egr update was ever performed. It consists of the valve being replaced and the port being drilled to a larger diameter and cleaned out. The insufficient flow is because the port is clogged. If you wanted to do it yourself, remove the intake manifold and unclog the port right in front of the # 5 and #6 ports
