Default Will this clutch work for me??

Does anyone know if i can use this clutch on my jdm b16a engine and cable transmission?

yes it will if you have an A1 S1 or Y1 . But won't if you have a YS1, then you would need one for a 92-93 integra

how can i tell which tranny i have??

There might be a gold sticker/tag on the front of the tranny. If not, there may not be a real way to tell. Odds are, if you got the tranny with the motor, you either have a S1, J1, or Y1 tranny. The clutch difference between those trannys and the YS1 is the input shaft size.

yes there is a sticker on the tranny. I will check it. i did get the motor and tranny together. I will also check the output shaft size and splines.

No I just bought another hatch and im starting from scratch. i didnt feel it was worth taking apart either of the running cars.

Th tag on the transmission reads J1-1006217 and there are 24 teeth/splines on the output shaft. Will the aforementioned clutch work?? How can I tell if this is an LSD tranny??

if you look into where the axles go and can see all the way through then it has lsd... if its blocked then its non-lsd
