Default Input on Mopeds

Looking to pick up something to mess around with. Considering the Honda Ruckus but my friend just picked this up and it was a blast. Its a 50cc 2 stroke moped. It is kick start and looks just like a mini motocycle. It has a 2 speed automatic transmission. It was tons of fun to mess around on but I have never ridden a ruckus. What do you guys think? Should I look into it? Any one have info on them?

it is a 50cc two stroke. Any reason why they are better? are they faster? more aftermarket support? Thanks

it might be easier to find more aftermarket parts for the Ruckus. Plus it's a Honda...

I have a cheap china scoot I paid 999 shipped to my door and it now has 700 miles no problem thus far. it is a honda based gy6 150cc. they have tons and tons of aftermarket parts from exhaust to bigbore kits, ignition and on and on. I get about 80mpg and it can do 59mph (gps calculated) stock and i weigh in at 210lbs.

MOPEDS > ALL MODERN SCOOTERS....

Ruckus's are cool and all but vintage mopeds have way more character than a toilet *** scooter. IMO...

Lets look at some cool mopeds.
1978 Motobecane 40T

1980 Puch Maxi

1979 Foxi GT

1977 General 5 star

And if you wanna keep it in the family.
1979 Honda Hobbit

The moped your looking at is a tomos built in slovania.
The *** motor is a good little two stroke.
about 3 HP "Lots of aftermarket" support also

And if it doesn't have pedals than its not a moped.

Here is a 2008 sprint. The step through version of that bike.

Hi,

My name is Christophe, I live in LA.
I love the 1978 Motobecane 40T.
I'm looking for moped, I grew up in Europe where I used to own a MBK 51.
Are you the owner and is it for sale ?

Here's my email : aworns9976@sbcglobal.net

Thanks.
