Default fan problem

what would cause my radiator fan not to engage when it is needed?

It's an aftermarket fan, and I have a new radiator and a new thermostat.

Do you think it may be the wiring? but that really can't be the problem can it? cause if it was, then it would never turn on right?

because it turns on after i turn off my car.

idk, this fan is on drugs if you ask me.

There's more results. That word Search up in the top right corner isn't highlighted in red for nothing.

okay, so now i have the oem fan back on.

my question now is, how can wire it up to where, when i turn on my car, the fan turns on, and when i turn off the car, the fan also turns off.

Well, first off, it don't happend like that man. The fan turns on after a certain temperature (180 degrees i believe). If you changed your water temp. sensor to the mishimoto one then it turns on at 160 degrees but if u got the stock water temp sensor if the car has not hit 180 degrees it wont turn on.

If it doesnt turn on after a while of u running ur car, u might want to change that sensor, its right on the thermostat i think.

i make it so my fan turns on when i turn my car on. its not bad. you jusve get the circuit and stick a wire and put both ends in then get duck tape. thats what i i have to in the past.
