What equipment/tool is need to measure cylinder head spring pressure?
i believe such tools are expensive. unless you plan on investing for one, building your engine shop soon.
better off sending it to a reputable shop to measure them for you or get specs from the manufacturer?

That tool will only tell you the seat pressure not the open and how much lift untill coil bind which is very important when switching cams.Take it to an engine shop with a Rimac spring tester to find out.
If you have to ask then you prollee can't accurately DYI
.
Even with the RIMAC you have to practice a lil and equip it with the more accurate dial indicator setup instead of the hard to read rule that it comes from the factory--and the thing still costs $600 new.
You gotta setup to account for retainer and spring used.
R I M A C fo da win!!!!!

Illustrative point.
Try reading this accurately

better to have this--but still has need finesse to feel when springs bind.
