just wondering what is the most logical thing to do. dont even know where to start. imma swap a k into it pretty soon, so.......... please help thanx in advance

 

theres many cluster you can use, in ef ive seen lots of the jdm sir cluster, some just keep their stock and rig it up, and other dc ek ect just really depends if you want to do the work, anything with the vss your going to have to do some wire work.

 

yeah i am aware of the wiring that is involved i just wondering if anyone has done an rsx cluster in an Ef. i really want a dc5 cluster. i saw a video and tryed searching but no luck

A DC5 cluster would be WAY to much work to install into a crx when a GSR (high rev limit and in mph) or a EDM/JDM crx cluster would work better.

yeah i understand that if worst comes to worst ill just get one the came off an sir crx with an electric VSS and leave it at that. but thats not close in the near future. i want an rsx cluster, and as i can see not many people have it......

 

K20A.org is the best place to find this info, and you don't even have to convert to VSS. There is a thread on k20a.org on how to keep you gear type cluster (I know thats not what you want to do). Just get the cluster, find a wire diagram for the rsx type s cluster, and start fabing .

yup thats wat i just did...... now to find a cluster, imma hit up my friends junkyard tommorrow. im gonna need it anyways thanx 4 your help

 

No prob, I would personally go with a GSR cluster (because I'm lazy lol) but a DC5 cluster would be awesome .

i did the ek in my ef it wasnt bad at all. prob gonna do this swap soon also and get rid of the ek cluster. just make sure what ever cluster ya get you also get the pig tails
