97 Accord stalls every time I stop
I have a 97 Accord. It stalls when I slow or come to a stop when below 1/2 a tank.
I can shift into neutral and immediately start the car normally. But it is frustrating to have to do so much maneuvering when making a turn.
I have also had several codes. I have had cyl 1 and 2 misfiring pretty regularly. Once all four had misfired and I had a code like p1300 which was a ‘multiple ignition system failure’.
I have replaced plugs and wires in an attempt to care for the misfires. The problem remains.
I just can’t figure the stalling out. I have tested my 1/2 of a tank theory on ten tanks. The problem always starts at 1/2 a tank and I am able to drive it until the tank is empty as long as I restart it at every stop.

you cleared the codes after that right? what codes are popping now? go from there. I would change the fuel filter, if you havent already. if no other codes, i would read the FAQ thread on cleaning the IACV, FITV, maybe check your base idle.
did u every try changing ur gas and letting the car repprogram itself i had that same problem after i had my honda fixxed let the car reprogram it self in other words let it run awhile after u reconect the battery or u might have to have ur fuel injector cleans and your O'Rings could be bad take it to a honda dealer asap!
