Default Dallas area recommended shops

I'm in dire need of help. I don't want to take my S to the dealer closest to my house, I wouldn't even let them change my oil. I need to have the transmission bearings replaced and a clutch installed while they're at it. I'm open to using a private shop, but I don't want to just leave my car with anyone. I want someone who's got some experience around S2000 and has done this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You might find a better answer in your local forum...

Actually I've tried S2ki in my area and no one will even reply. I tried this forum because usually someone will.

Tony from T1 does some really nice work. Don't know if he'd do something like that though.

Tony and those guys are top notch!! I highly recommend them! When and if my car needs major work, he is the only one I would trust in our area.

Good luck OP...

there is a place in lewisville, called autosport.
the guy there used to have a shop in cali somewhere, they do really good work and its only like 3-5 people that work there.

Well, I took my car to Tony @ T1 Racing and he replaced all of the bearings, replaced the clutch, and resurfaced the flywheel for 1800.00. Did a great job and didn't overcharge me. The guy knows his stuff. Very impressed and will definately recommend him. Thank you for the help.

Very interesting! I didn't know Tony's shop did this kind of work. Rather, that he has TIME to do this kind of work because he is always so busy making cars go fast! lol
