Default HELLO EVERYBODY!

Whats going on guys?

Names Tong, im from Texas, but currently deployed in Iraq. I got lots of time on my hands out here, and a little bit of money. So I thought i'd join the family and discuss a few options I have with you tech-heads and veteran tuners.

I just recently bought a 91 CRX SI. It isn't in the best shape, but for 800 American bones, you get what you pay for right? Luckily only a few dings in the body, but the engine runs with a bad tranny, and it stalls when shifted to gear.

So im thinking of two routes to go, maybe three?

As you have a right to know, this CRX will be a daily driver/project car. I have a Lincoln LS I like to drive around on the weekends for comfort and relaxation, but it's big on gas. So I decided to buy a nice light weight car, and what more perfect speeder than the CRX?

So before I start rambling on about my wants and needs, let me list my three options, and maybe you guys can point me in the right direction.

I am looking at option numero uno the most.

-ALL MOTOR-

B18C GSR COMPLETE CHANGE OVER JDM SPEC. ITB AND EXHAUST. TUNE FOR HIGHER COMPRESSION, AND MAYBE SHOOT 100 SHOT OF NITROUS LATER DOWN THE ROAD.

Option numero dos would be

- TURBO -
LS BLOCK, WITH GSR HEADS. JDM SPEC. TUNE FOR LOWER COMPRESSION, AND INSTALL TURBO KIT.

Option numero tres would be

- STOCK -
Keep the SOHC ZC motor in, and just roll around hoping I don't regret wasting the extra cash on a wasted tranny on a wasted motor.

Anywho, any other options or insights would be much appreciated from a new CRX owner

Thanks guys

- Tong

I'd do whatever you want to do. It is your car. If you read and search around here on HT you can narrow it down to what YOU want.
