Problems... Oh the problems
Hello everyone,
My 91 Civic, 1.5L recently died on the freeway, and after troubleshooting we decided that the timing belt had gone bad and that a valve job was most likely needed - which it was needed and now my compression is MUCH better. We did this work, and got it all back together, but the car won't start still. I'm getting electricity to the plugs, but getting no combustion. In fact, after removing the plugs, they are clean and there is no sign of fuel, which leads me to believe that no fuel is getting into the cylinders. I've poured fuel directly into the intake manifold (though the fuel pump seems to be working fine), and still no combustion. The intake does have suction when cranking the engine over...
I'm lost as to what could be happening, or not happening for that matter. If you have any ideas, I would appreciate hearing them. Thank you for your help. I hope I can return the favor in the future.

Timings fine, double and triple checked it. Distributer has offset alignment so can only be put back on one way. Fuel pump works fine, plenty of pressure. Injectors tested fine. Keep in mind that we even poured fuel directly into the intake to test. Still didn't work. Watched the fuel injectors spit out fuel while cranking. Still didn't fire.
Any other thoughts?

Anybody?
I've also checked the voltage to the injectors with the ignition on, and it wasn't getting enough volts, if any. Checked the Main Relay, looks fine. Not even hairline cracks in the soldering. Out of curiousity I checked the voltage to the MAP sensor with the ignition on, and no voltage there as well. Could it be a defective ECU?
Desperately looking for some help...

Mog, got your PM later on in the day... Thanks for trying to help, but as I do not know you, I feel that calling a little uncomfortable calling. Please post if you have any answers. Thank you...
