Default cracked b-series cylinderheads

Does anybody elso have experiences with B-series heads that are cracked between the spark plug and the valve seats?

Over tha past two years I habe several heads with these damages here laying around.

Did some people reuse these heads for F/I applications or should they be thrown away?

Are there senseful ways to repair?

Thanks

It's usually not worth repairing them when they have chamber cracks.
You would have to remove and replace all the seats, grind away the crack, weld the cracked chamber and rethread the spark plug hole.
It's up to you though.

Default FV-QR

There is no water there. Pressure test the head, if it pressure test's OK and the crack doesnt extend through the seat, I would use it in a street app,but absolutely NO high boost app.

To be honest i got a lot of cracked B-series heads here laying around.
I collected them over the years ans they all came from stock B-series blocks.

I usually wanted to use them in several customers F/I applications but I do not have a good feeling with these because here in Germany the F/I cars can heavily be abused under german street conditions.
We got no speed limits and so on here on the "Autobahn" where most people treat there engines very hard.

So what do you guys thing?

Thanks in advance!
