gsr swap?
I just picked up a 99 gsr swap, and i have an ls swapped 89 dx. My question is, is the gsr swap any easier on a dx model or an si model? (i am looking for a new shell) I have efb1 hasport mounts and linkage and da axles, and rear mounting braket and obviously a mpfi conversion for a dx shell (still obd0).
The level of difficulty will be the same. An Si shell will save you some time with wiring, but other than that, everything else will be the same, work wise.
Does anyone know a link to a good write up for a gsr swap? i searched gsr swap and a lot of questions about this or that and not a detailed how-to or whats needed. Or is it the same as a sir2 b16 swap. I would need to get an obd0-obd1 conversion plus an obd2-obd1 conversion? This would save problems with the 02 sensor right?
