if you crake or brake a header can anything else break with it ??

if you crake or brake a header can anything else break with it ??
i'm about to buy a 93 hatch he wants $700 he says it has a craked header, new transmission, some stupid custom muffler and it needs some body work i don't the what questions to ask and i don't know what to look for ....................i just want to know if i'm getting ripped off for my money

if its just a cracked header it wont effect it until it completely puts a hole in it....well i dont know ive seen people run open header and its simular but i think backpressure is important....i would look for a cheapo on ebay for a quick fix or some exhaust wrap to cover the crack as a temporary fix...you can find it at your local auto parts store....jb weld works great also but you need to let it cure for 24hrs so if its your DD, thats probably not gonna happen....but yea it wont hurt anything if you have a crack in it
