Hey ht. My speedometer will work one min then it goes crazy. it will go to like 100 in first gear. that how fast it will spin. a lil love tap on the cluster and it jumps back down to normal. recently it went all the way to like 140 and it just stays there now. even with the love tap it doesnt even budge.

Do i need a new cluster or is something loose in the inside?

is it a cable speedo or electronic? i know people that have problems with there cable speedos were they go into the back of the cluster, but they can be fixed. if its not a cable then it has a electronic speed sensor, and that could be at fault too. but if you know its the cluster then i would personally replace it
