.. compressor was a small craftsman.. i have a 60 Gal and it does great but i sprayed this at a friends. did what i could with it and i was pretty happy with the end result.

Ya fines are high if you get caught but code enforcement dont really trip in the hood! they got bigger things to worry bout

ideally you need a compressor that can hold 12-14 cfm. this compressor was only doing 7 or 8! but if you take your time and adjust your gun accordingly its all good!

Are you only buffing because it was painted in a garage and had CC contamination? Most BC/CC I've seen done in a bay doesn't necessarily need buffing from what I have seen. Just curious. Color looks great!

i buff all my paint jobs regardless to get out any trash and every bit of orange peel. NO matter how good of a painter you are theres always some type of imperfections (especially in a garge). I dont ever leave my paint jobs like that.

Nice man! My car looked great after I painted it too....but, it can look sooo much better with some wet sanding and a buff..I just love the way no orange peel looks.Nice job.

can we get the specs of that small craftsman that you used?

i'm on a budget and want to paint my prelude in my garage too but I need a gun, compressor etc...

could you get the specs on that compressor and what gun you used?

I know that you have a larger 60gallon compressor but thats too big/expensive for me beacuse I want to get one that I can move around.
