Default Strange problem with HID bulb

Just installed an HID kit for a buddy's and we noticed one of his bulbs had a strange substance inside. Can anyone tell me if they have seen it before or know what it is? I'm thinking return for new bulbs, what do you guys think?

I'm talking about those little yellow spots

those are the salts in the bulb that are part of the mixture that ignite to creat the light, as a bulb ages the salts become more colored and noticable, it's common with aftermarket or "burner" bulbs to see the salts or the specs of yellow (or red in some cases) but it's not a sign to worry about...

Thanks for the input. The kit has a lifetime warranty so big no worries here. It is nice to know what that is though.
