Default dc booster into ef

Ok, I still can't seem to find a DA master cylinder and booster for disc conversion. This guy offered me his 1" cylinder and booster from a DC.

My question is will the booster work with a DA suspension?

i dont think ya need the da booster and master, you just need the portioning valve, and the rear stuff for the swap

but it will fit if ya want it

go with the Civic EX Sedan booster the lines will hook in perfectly. the dc port is on the other side of the unit. Also the EX is a 15/16 so your what a 1/16 short of an inch. Get the porp val from a 90-92 Integra. I'd buy the booster from autozone, and the master unit from NAPA 115bucks when i got mine. Booster was like 45-60 or something.

also note you can't use the civic cylndr with the integra booster the bolt pattern is reversed. i know for fact. done it...

Any Integra or Civic booster will fit you just can't mix ABS with Non ABS parts and Civic with Integra.

An ABS will bolt on just fine I have one. You just have to change one fitting. It is easy.

Also there is a tag on the top of the booster that says what it is. I have provided that info below.

ABS = 290v
Non Abs = 260v
Civic = 205v, 190v

The ABS give you less brake pedal movement as it moves more fluid with less travel.

for flaring you just need a flare tool. check autozone advance or maybe even walmart. pretty easy to use.

S*** I just read the tag and its 290v(abs) so the mc must be abs. Is there a way I can still use this set up for my DA suspension or would I need the non abs mc/booster?

290v will bolt up just fine you just need to reflare one fitting...easy as pie.

When I say you can't mix abs with non abs. I mean you CANNOT mix ABS mc with Non ABS booster or vise versa.

Take the MC to auto parts store and let them know you need the bigger fitting for the back line. I typically cut them off the car but you are past that point now. You could probably got to Honda and get one too.

I have both fittings on the mc. So I'll just go to autozone and ask for the fitting. So after I flare it it'll bolt right in to the brakeline? Thanx 4 the help
