Default cel ecu code 43 fuel supply system b18 swap 91 crx si

well as we all know the infamous code 43 has to be the biggest pita known to honda. I just picked up a 91 si crx with b18 swap and i'm attempting to clean/fix/tighten up all the issues so i can sell this bisch. The previous owner had a pm6 running it and it had codes 1 and 8. I replaced it with a pr4 and now its only got one code but its code 43.

Well let me say if i don't fix the code 43 then no biggie to me cause it runs fine and i'll sell it anyway but this has more so turned into the quest for the fix for code 43. lol The usual possiblities are fuel filter, pump, O2 sensor, dirty injectors, etc. But now i ask you how does changing the ecu's out make it have a code 43? At that point you can rule out the physical possibilities like the the filter, pump, etc. This makes it seem more electrical. Also makes me wonder if fuel pressure requirements are the same between the ecu's. Hmmmm...................does any of this info spark any ideas?

i would start with a new o2 sensor there 17.00 at autozone for a universal one, then check fuel pressure, ect... but if you say the car runs fine ill assume its not and actual fuel problem. try the o2 see what happens

Had this problem a while back on my homies da, but his would every now n then bog slightly right off idle. Kinda seemed like a tps flat spot.

But since u said the different ecu showed different code then swap in a known good one (unless u kno for a fact urs doesn't throw codes in other cars)

Then as stated above, try o2.
We swapped out tps, map, dizzy, ecu, injectors, pump, filter, rail, main relay n none of that fixed it. Well he sold it to another friend who doesn't kno much about hondas... That guy buys an o2 sensor n the problem went away n the cel never came back. if I'm correct its been a lil over a yr now. Hope it helps for u

Do not buy a Bosch O2. NGK or don't bother changing it.
