Ok so I have a 93 si hatchback that I put a d16z6 in it and it ran then I sold the whole swap out of it for 350. Then went and bought my friends motor for 100 bucks(d15b7), i helped him pull it out to do his swap and the motor ran fine prior to doing so. Well all i did was put a fuel rail and injectors on it cause it didn't have any when i got it. I went to start it and it would turn but wouldn't run, i've got fuel, spark and compression. At first the spark plug wires were on different but fixed that. It sounds like it wants to start but doesn't and as soon as it backfires it cuts down all the lights on the dash. Any ideas I've searched and hope i didn't mess anything up by have the spark plug wires different at first. thanks

 

you may have an ecu problem....how do you know you have fuel? do you have a FPR or did you check to see if the injectors were spraying?

 

ecu came out of his car, i personally saw it running, i pulled the injectors of a parts motor i had, possibilty they're stuck? how do you check if they are spraying?

 

Figured it out, it was the wrong firing order...
