I need a few good recommendation on some anti-theft devices. I got a decent ride that I worked really hard on. My problem is I don't got a garage to put it in at the moment. It is sitting in front of my house everyday. I don't want this to disappear one day outside my house. I have a compustar alarm and a anti-clutch lock. I did have a quick release steering wheel but the quick release button broke. I need to fix it soon or replace it. so for now I only have 2 anti-theft devices. Any recommendation or ideals hopefully not ridiculously expensive that can help me. I also heard that the anti-theft brake/clutch lock can be removed some how from someone. Not sure if its true, but if it is please let me know lol. I got kinda jumpy when I heard someone say that. I was thinking about installing a kill-switch in my car also, but i heard it was bad for your car. Is that true? Well let me know whats good out there. Thanks for reading this post

Shot gun and lowjack

 

Lowjack is the best for recovery but honestly id prefer it not even coming to that either. Basically beef up your antitheft with a few kill switches so that the only way the car could be stolen is via tow truck.

From there make it as difficult as possible to tow by turning your wheels all to one side, remove key and lock the wheel, then remove it with your quick release. Park in gear so that they would have to break a window to dissengage it, which will set off your alarm. That also goes for the ebrake depending on how they attempt to tow it.

From there go to the sporting goods store and invest in a 12g. You may accidentally shoot your car in the process but that can be fixed. Catching the D bag thats trying to steal your car though, priceless
