i thought the V2 was a type of shortram?
i would only be afraid of hydrolock with a real cold air not the V2

Tell me, why get a cold air in the first place? When it rains a lot there? In ClubRSX, there's been hydrolocked threads scattered.

The AEM V2 is only a short ram, not a cold air. Perhaps he got it all mixed up?

Buy the Injen hydroshield. It won't *stop* hydrolocking, but will repel water slightly.

Wait WTF?

If one were to hydrolock their car with an AEM v2, they have bigger problems. Like how the [freak] are you gonna get the car out of the lake you just drove into.

Could just be the older AEM CAI. Maybe you can just the bypass valve for it.

Do you realize how much water it would take for it to actually hyrdolock an engine. Just drive smart and don't drive through large deep puddles. If you feel uncomfortable, buy the hydroshield or just go to a SRI

But you sounded like you weren't sure if it was or not, and that you needed a confirmation.
