Default Going to U Pull R Parts tomorrow.

For my 99 Civic 4D. Going to look for a new sideview mirror and fenders.
Anything else I should keep an eye-out for? Also if I take a sideview mirror from say another car (normally not compatible) could I maybe make a mounting bracket for it to work?

Also what tools should I bring to take off the sideview mirror / fenders?

Thanks!

Right on!
Got all my supplies. Taking off in a bit. Hopefully I find what I'm looking for if not plus some.

(EDIT: One quick question - so if I get a sideview mirror from a different car maybe even an older civic can I make the mounting bracket for it to work)

Any 96-00 should work for you. Go on South Bay Honda's parts website and cross reference the mirros from a 4-door and 2-door.

Hmmm. I can't tell really. How difficult would it be to make it work? I don't care if it's power or not. Also with other parts?

So far as I can tell '96 - '00 4 door mirrors are the only thing that will work. Honda generally makes different mirrors for the 2 door and 4 door due to the angle of the door. '92 - '95 are definately different. I suspect '96 - '00 are also different between coupe/hatch and sedan.

****, I found that out kinda late. I just got back and didn't see anything really. Most civics were completely gutted and almost all of them were 94 or older.

Looks like it's back to craigslist/just buy the parts. Thanks for all the help guys.
