I got some in my 94 DX for $250 for both front seats although I don't know how legal they were. So $800 probabally isn't that bad considering that those seats are something like $1200 each from Honda.

To make them fit you have to take off the airbag things and the seat belt buckels and reuse your old ones. To fit the seats in the car have fun....I had to cut off the bolt down brackets and install them opposite from what they come as then bend them to fit the floor angle. I got 3 original factory bolts to line up but I had to drill the outside ones to fit them.

Just to let you know they are going to sit much, much higher then your factory seats but they are damn nice to ride in. I will post some pics of them and what I did if you want.

RSX seats bolt DIRECTLY into the 2002+ Civics

RSX seats have COMPLETELY different brackets from that of an EG/EK/DC chassis. The front of the RSX/New Civic seat bracket sits at a 90 deg angle. Where as the EG/EK/DC sit at an 80-85 deg angle. The front brackets also sit narrower than that of the EG/EK/DC.

If you notice, the foundation of the RSX seat and the new Si seat, sits alot higher than normal. If you get em to fit, make sure and take a picture of your head hitting the roof. Also add a crank pulley on your steering wheel so you can sit and and turn like a truck. (I hope you know I was being sarcastic)

My suggestion would have somebody completely renig you a seat bracket. Its alot of work involved. I myself, was going to put RSX seats in my last EG. Too much work involved, sat too high. Didnt look right. Just my opinion with my first had observations.

Sorry to use you as an example here yucky, I hold no ill will towards you personally:

But every day I see posts here about someone getting thier treasured car stolen and everyone responds with "F-ing thieves!" and "Kill all the thieves". I think people that buy those stolen parts from the thieves are just as bad if not worse than the thieves themselves. YOU are feeding the need for the ***** to steal the cars in the first place.

Those Si seats you bought most likely came from someones baby that was stolen. How would you feel if someone stole your car and you found out one of your buddies bought the parts from the ******* thief?

Again, not a personal attack on you in particular mucky, but people that buy stolen parts are the gayest of the gay.....

Yea, I would agree....$250 for complete front/back seats from a '02 Si? Just yesterday for fun I priced out the individual parts to build "one" front seat and that alone was $900. Consider what used ITR seats bring and compare it to $250 for these "02 Si seats......hmm?

More power to you if that is what you like though. DelSol seats are a better deal IMO

I bought both of the fronts for $250 not the back and they didn't come from a stolen car...they came from a friend that works at Honda where they recieved a wrecked 02 Si. I don't know if the car was considered totaled or not but this guy was parting it out and I don't think that it was his car.

The seats do sit pretty high and we mounted them as low as we could with out turning massive refabrication of the frame which is going to be very hard. Del Sol seats are by far much better and they will bolt right in. When I see my brother this weekend I will take pictures because I sold that car to him.

I am very against stealing and auto theft and I auctually felt bad after I got these seats and put them in...in fact that is why I sold the car. Well that and I was just sick of it and my brother wanted it. I have recently testified in court against a friend that was convicted of stealing over $25,000 in car parts. It was hard to do it but it is something that I had to do. I will never buy any parts that are stolen or seem questionable ever again after these seats. I'm sorry to anybody that read that and thought that I promote or promote buying stolen car parts. I don't,

Hope you didn't think I was accusing you of anything directly yucky. I don't know what the situation surrounding the purchase of your seats was so I did not jump to conclusions. Your post just made a good example.

I can imagine it would be hard to testify against a friend, but you did the right thing.

No I didn't think that you were accusing me of anything at all. I just now know that I hate people who steal cars and I hate people who buy stolen stuff to promote theft. I shouldn't have bought those seats when I did and I have learned a lot from it.

Ok so here are some pictures...my camera is a pile of crap.

Have fun trying to install them, I would recommend spending money on Del Sol seats and not these. They are really nice though.

I had to take all the airbag stuff out cause they wouldnt fit with them in. To get them to fit I had to cut the factory harness and turn it around then bend it out. The rear bolts fit in. They are really heavy and they sit really high. Everybody hits their head when they get in or when I hit a bump in the road but it's not my car anymore so its ok with me.
