hey I was driving home this night and I pressed the sunroof button and I pressed the wrong one and I was waiting for it to open and then I pressed the right one and boom it does not work by the way i got a 95 civic hatchback si. is there a fuse i could of burnt b/c i read the fuse box cover and it did not say sunroof

please help and thanx ahead of time

 

is their any noise while trying to close it like a relay motor click ?

 

their is 2 fuse's in the under dash fuse box fuse # 14 is a 20 amp fuse that has power all the time and the #1 30 amp fuse that is power with key on.

no motor noise just clicking every time I press the button only one click not many

wat is aim?

 

Check that the switch is plugged in and check fuses.

Please post what you find out in this thread in case there is someone else who ends up with the same problem.

i have a 92 eg si, i had the same problem when i first bought my car. the old owner didnt know how to fix it, it turned out to be the fuse in the engine bay. so.... check the fuse in the engine bay

 

I'm having a similar problem now.
I just bought my 95 civic EG and the sunroof wouldnt life up and open. I thought the motor was going bad so I replaced the whole sun roof. The one I have now also doesnt go up. I hear the motor and I hear it click, and when I push up on the glass to help it out, it goes up and jumps. As if the track is dirty but I cleaned it all out. Oh and when you get it to open, it doesnt pull the liner part (not sure what to call it) back with it.

Goes down and seals just fine.


Any suggestions?

 

so which fuse was the problem???
