Mugen Low Downs....
Just picked up some Mugen Low Downs for my 96 spec ITR. I've read a lot of good and no negative about them. I was just wondering since they are not marked on top for the different settings how do i know which setting is which?
ill have pictures up of the car on them tomorrow and the installation.

ive heard in the past when you cant see the markings you just count what thread setting your on and turns etc, i would definatly like these to go with my mf10s but i think i want pic being that they are adjustable
i sold my spoon springs and found these for a great deal so i picked them up...they ride awesome. im not soo excited about the actual ride height but its not all that bad. i still need to know how do i know which settings are which? pics will be up tonight.
turned all the way to the left is setting 1. there are a total of 5 settings. 5 being the stiffest....
These are now called the 5 way adjustable rather than low downs, but are the same.
I love mine but am actually selling them since I am returning the car to stock.

To add to what has already been said. When you turn them down or turn them up, the clicker/adjuster thingy does not automatically reset to 1 or 5, when you adjust it so you will have to take many test drives to see if all 4 corners feel the same on there respective settings. I found that when I installed mine I had one corner that was much stiffer than the rest. Over time and research I discovered that I had to unwind the stiffer shock one full revolution to get it back in line with the rest of the corners. After I did that, it was a great ride.
^^^Are you guys talking about the Lowdowns or NZ/N1 suspension?
There are 5 settings on the Lowdowns. Farthest setting counter-clockwise is #1 (softest setting). Mine actually had numbered stickers on them at one time, but have started to peel off over the years.

Well WTH are you doing a full rotation on them for?! Positions 1-5 don't even make a full 360º sweep.

Thats news to me. Everything I found in my reaserch say they do and mine certainly do as well. Do get me wrong. I am not saying that you should make complete rotations on it but it is possible and he might encounter this same problem that I did as well.

Spoons and Koni Yellow Vs Mugen Low Downs

Pull her back out and here she is (a tad bit to high in the back for my taste but they ride awesome)...
