Default -License plate light removal-

My girlfriend has an '06 RSX and was wondering if I had to remove the rear bumper to change out the little wedge bulb. Look's like the bracket housing is clipped on but couldn't seem to pop it off.

Pulled over for what? I'm just trying to change out the regular halogen bulb for white LED ones. White LED's are legal cause they even have them on newer luxury cars.

LOL yeah I had no idea why that guy said that, had nothing to do with what I asked.

But I think bottom line is that you have to take off the rear bumper just to get back there.

i can't believe no one esle has answered this question yet

edit i just checked mine out and it looks like the bumper would have to be removed unless you can get under neathe it but i have an 02

Yeah that's what I'm saying but I think in the end the bumper is going to have to come off. Not like it's hard so no biggy, just extra work to change out 1 little bulb.

the license plate lights on newer luxorious cars are NOT leds. putting leds in those would be alittle brighter than stock, but it wont be as bright as lexus's license plate lights

what they use is cathode lights which is way brighter and better although you might need to do some custom wiring to install them.
