tranny fluid, where to fill? im lazy! lol
question? is it ok to put tranny fluid through the breather nipple looking thing on the top of the transmission? its a d series...idk what year but its from 92-95, because i used to pour through the reverse light hole in my 91 crx si tranny on my old car, but im not sure on this one...and yes i know about the one your supposed to use lol on the side above the cv shaft but that's kinda a b!tc# to get to..gus looking for an easyer way..
just go to the autoparts and buy one of those hoses that hooks up to a quart of oil... pull out the plug where you're supposed to put it in, that way you can't overfill it... If this is difficult for you maybe you shouldn't be doing it in the first place.
Forget the "breather nipple" idea.
Reaching the 17mm bolt that seals the fill hole isn't any harder than removing the tall 10mm VSS bolt and filling it from there. It's up to you.
Using the fill hole on the side of the tranny is a fool proof method though.
