saw this at sears point yesterday. It had boost gauges, so im assuming its got a supercharger or turbo.

pretty unimpressive times.. especially if boosted.

What were the times, for those of us on dial-up...?

 

14.1@96mph......doubt that it is supercharged b/c the trap is so low.

 

Neither of those cars are boosted.

In addition, if you run a sub 14.0 at most tracks they ask you to leave and don't come back until you have a roll-cage.

just because theres a boost gauge doesn't mean theres a s/c or tc under the hood. I've seen a lot of cars with boost gauges with NOTHING under the hood.

 

What tracks tell you leave and go get a roll cage if you run 13.99 or quicker? I think you are mistaking that for a helmet. They are not gonna make someone that pulls up in a brand spanking new cobra who just ran a mid 13 go home and put a roll cage in his/her car , but they will make them put a helmet on.

The small screen all the way to the right is the new apexi rev/speed meter. Doesn't do much but tell you rpm, speed, g-force. Next to it is the apexi vtec controler. And as for the two small gauges, they can be gauges messuring exhaust temperature, oil temp, hell even engine heat.. 14.1 are not boosted time. My friend steve ran his s2ooo with only one seat, nitto drags and hit a 13.9. And regardless if you run a s2ooo they make you wear a helmet. All convertible cars owners who run thier cars must wear a helmet.
