Default Fiber glass Duct Construction??

so i know what i want to build in my mind... pretty much think about a js racing eg/dc2 duct but i want to create one on a usdm 98-01 USDM integra front bumper...

so as far as the actual release agent gelcoat resin and laying out fiberglass goes i think i have a good handle on it...

What im stuck on is what would be the best way to make a plug (item that i lay the fiberlass on) for it? all i have to work with is a rectangular hole in the bumper (where the parking light goes) any ideas?

thanks in advance

insulation foam spray IIRC its 13.99 a can at home depot, what you do is its in a can and you attach an included silicone see through hose, you pull the trigger and hold it wait it sets, its pretty hard.

i tried some when attached to mild steel 1/4 plate just to check it. pretty easy to work with. never id anyting with fberglass though

that foam stuff is pretty porous, go to your local arts and crafts store, and get the green floral foam. Shape it, paint it with aerosol latex house paint to protect the foam from the caustic resin, then lay your glass on it. drink.

worked great for me. Oh, I shoved some 3/32 filler wire down the middle to give it a "spine" for structural strength while forming.

as long as you first painted with latex house paint. I used a hotwire to cut the foam. Google the hotwire thing.
