Default Painted Rim Durrability?

I might trade my rims for some knock off Slipstreams and I wanted to paint them white with a small red lip.

My questions are: How durrable is the paint? Can I clean them just like I clean my rims that arent painted? Will they get rock pecks like the paint on the car? Has anybody had painted rims for a long period of time that can tell me how thiers have lasted?

Thanks guys!

Durability would depend on your prep and application.

Adding a clearcoat would also help.

make sure the rim itself or whatever surface your painting on is prepped correctly.

shortcut.... just sand the wheel with 400 or 600 grit sand paper first to make sure the new coat of paint has something to latch on to.
