Spray guns: Sata or Iwata for base/clear. Personally I use Sata NR 2000's, 1 clear, 2 base. Iwata's work great for DIY'ers and home grown style set-ups, they spray very well at lower cfm's. Industial style, bigger compressors have higher cfm output, not what would be typically used in a home garage for common air tools. Sata's are considered air hogs but not a factor in a pro environment, they atomize well, widely used, built to last for heavy use.

Air tools: Dynabrade is my preference. The Supreme model palm DA's, air buffers, ect rock. You definitely get the performance and longevity you pay for. Great choice for a tool you use a lot, like a DA sander. Might be better off getting a cheaper brand if not used frequently.
