Will this wheel/tire combination rub againts my fenders
What's up everyone,
I need some help with the following questions:
I have a 99 Si with 16x7 rims with 205/40/R16 falken azenis RT615 tires. If I upgrade to a 215/45/R16 tire will it rub againts my fenders or will I have to get my fenders rolled? Also, I've been considering going to a 15x7 rim with 205/50/R15 falkens; whats the lowest offset I can go with with out going past the fenders? I'm serving in Iraq at the momemt so any help anyone can give me will be greatly appricated, thanks

I am not too familiar with that car model, but I am running a 16x7 with a 215/45r16 RT615 with camber set at -2.5*f/-3*r on a '91 DA. I have the camber set just enough for the tire to not rub the fender when the tire compresses up into the fenderwell.
On another note, where in IRAQ are you? My first tour was at Sather, and now I am stationed at the DIED for the second time and will be here till jan or feb timeframe. Homebase is McCHord AFB.
Rims are 16x7 fno1r-c's at a +33offset.

with 205's on a 15x7 ur looking to run +35's but it's also dependent on ur camber/ride height...if your ride height is not too low..mid 30's offsets are what you are looking for...
you should lookin into rolling your fenders rolled/pulled just a bit

215/45-16 (or also 205/45-16) are fine for your car, as long as the offset positions the tires for maximum clearance. The 205/40-16 size you have now is TOO SMALL for your car.
Thanks for the tips, I've decided I'm going to change over to a 15x7 +40 offset wheel with a 205/50/R15 tire when I get home. Thanks again
