Default Bad output shaft bearing??

I recently got a B16 tranny with a trade and when I went to sell it, the buyer said that the output shaft bearing was shot. I don't know much about trans. so I don't know if he was BS'ing me so I would sell it cheap or not. You can wiggle the output shaft about a 1/8" back and forth. Everything seems fine when you spin it but I am concerned about that issue. If installed would there be any problems from this?
Thanks

It's bad. Install it and you will risk the ISB exploding and doing a lot of damage. Could possibly already have damage depending on how long its been driven.
