Default DEI alarm help please

Alright so im actually making some progress after ditching the remote start. I have a clifford matrix rsx3.5. I can just not use the tach, neutral safety, remote start harness, etc. and the alarm will still work right?

Also on the H1 main harness. Where does the orange ground when armed wire go? Im assuming thats the ignition wire but im not positive.

Thanks in advance!

Everything will be fine there - Just, of course, be sure to cap off the ends somehow.

The orange just goes into the brain and to the relay, and then the yellow is the 'other' side of the relay that gets plugged into the "key is on"/ignition wire.
Thus, when ignition gives +12, and the alarm is armed and gives -12, the relay is flipped.

The Orange wire is a "Ground when Armed" wire. You wont need to use this on a Matrix 3.5 into a honda.

You do need both the Alarm Brain and the Remote Start module to be wired in since the 12V, starter, and ignition wires are connected to the RS module, which then connects to the brain.

You do not need to run remote start, all you need is the yellow lead in the ribbon harness going to the remote start relay pack, depin all but the yellow lead on the ribbon harness plug, [main brain side] and connect the yellow to a "true" ign. source, [hot in run and start].

Other then the yellow lead in the ribbon harness you do not need anything else that has to do with remote start including leads like tach, brake input, in fact all you need on the H3 harness is the hood pin input, [H3/4 gray].

The orange, ground out when armed lead you would use to control a starter cut or ign. disable relay as the systems starter cut is in the remote start relay pack you are no longer using. 94

If you have stock power door locks then no relays are needed, the connections are made in the drivers kick panel... http://64.85.6.121/diagrams/pr...eID=6 94
