Nissan T3?
I have a buddy who has a fully built Nissan 3000 V6 turbo... He got the bottom end and turbo for free from a friend of his because he gave up on the build. Anyways, he's thinking about selling the turbo for really cheap because he wants to upgrade, and I'm considering buying it because he says it's a stock Nissan T3, and thats the style I'm looking for. I really don't know anything about Nissans, so I'm asking this: Did Nissan ever make a T3 turbo? I was told by someone else that the 300zx's only came as a twin turbo setup with T28's.
I can't recall the speciffics, but I think its a T28 turbo with a T3 turbine inlet flange. IIRC those are actually from the 80's cars. I do recall there being a turbo with a Nissan cover, and it being a 60trim T3, but I think that one had a T25 flange... Sorry, I wish I could remember.

I think it is the one with the nissan cover, because when I looked at the turbo with a flashlight one night, all I could see was "Nissan" on the compressor inlet. Anyone else know about this?
