Default 91 Honda Accord LX 4 Dr.

Hi everyone,

Hay yesterday my 91 accords Raidator started leaking, its leaking thru what looks like the bottom of the motor. Could this be my heater core gone bad? I have an Internal heater core witch sucks so I'll probaly have a shop do the work, any ideas or am I right on?

I guess I dont understand your question??? The heater core is inside the passengers side dash. The radiator is in front of the motor. If it is leaking near the bottom of the motor it may just be the lower radiator hose. Could bethe pitot???? valave is leaking or came a little loose on the bottom of the radiator. It could be the radiator itself has a leak a the seam on the bottom of it. Lots of possibilities. Jack the car up, put a jack stand under the frame and run it and look at where it is leaking exactly. You may want to have a flash light for those darker spots you cant see well.

My bad, you might be right I'll check the hose out tonight. I had a new Radiator installed a few yrs back. And I know for a fact that the old hoses were reused. I already had to replace the upper one.

I was told my car had an internal heater core, while most Honda Accords have an External one.
