96 HX CEL Code 61, replaced Sensor, and still get Code 61
Hello,
I have a stock '96 Civic HX ~152k miles.
I had checked the CEL using the jumper method, and got the code 61, Primary Oxygen Sensor. I just left it be for a while, but now with gas always increasing I want to get this thing running better.
I replaced the Primary Oxygen Sensor (the 5-wire $$$ one), unplugged the negative battery cable for about 10 minutes, started the car and I got to about 40 miles on it, and the same code 61 came up again. The connector seems fine.
Any one have any ideas? The car really seems to hesitate when cruising around 60-65, it will like start to slow down, and I have to give it gas again, and it will start to pick itself back up.
Thanks in advance for any help!
