Overheating Problem
I have a 94 Accord I just got done putting in a new water pump, brakes, rotors, and axle today.. after i put everything back together I was bleeding the air out the system and I noticed the fan never turned on once so I went to check the temp gauge and it was a little bit under half way so I just waited another 20 mins or so and then I checked it again and it was almost at the Hot position 3/4 of the way so i check all the connections and fuses and they were all still good.. I'm thinking maybe the fan is broken so I'm going to buy a new one tomorrow but before I do that I just wanted to know if they might be another reason the fan is not turning on before I buy a new fan. Anybody have any ideas that might help?
Just test the fan.
Unplug it and wire it directly to the battery, if it comes on you're good, if not then the fan is the issue.
Along with that though you'll need to trouble shoot further (fan relay, etc) if it does come on.
