Default 2000 Honda Accord manual tranny new buyer

Hi guys, i'm new in this and I need some good advise. I'm thinking to buy a 2000 Accord manual and I'm looking if this cars come with any major mechanical problem. I'm going to use it 2 do deliveries and you guys know what this means. I am a very skeptical person, that's why I'm doing this research. If one of you got any info or any bad experience with this type of vehicle please let me know. I have not found any major complaint with manual trannys, but i still need help. Thanks .

248k on my 99 5spd. I think they're pretty reliable.

How long did your clutch last?

And I have 95,000 on my '99 LX with 5-speed manual, the car / transmission / clutch are still going strong. I have issues with the door locks, but it's nothing major.

By the way, you can remove the bottom of the back seat then fold the rear part down, it'll give you more room for your deliveries. To remove the bottom of the back seat, remove the bolt near the left passenger's seatbelt (in the crevice of the back of the seat and the bottom of the seat), then pull up on the front of the seat (held in by clips). To fold the rear of the seat down put your key in the keyhole on the back dash, turn, then pull on the seat back.

I did the clutch at 125k. It was still in decent shape but I was doing a bunch of other stuff. I'm sure it would have made it to 150k easy. I've got almost 125k on that one and it is going out. Again, not bad though, it will make it farther. It was an Exedy stock replacement, not a Honda part.

still have the original alternator. car has had some sort of a system since about 20k.

never had to recharge the A/C, still blows cold.

I've done front wheel bearings 2x, once at 75k and once around 200k.

I've replaced most of the ball joints by now. one or 2 at a time usually.

did both axles at 175k. one was completely shot, the other was ok but I figured I'd do them both anyway.

to be fair, the motor is pretty tired. still gets 32 - 33 mpg highway though. would get more if I hadn't broken the knock sensor a few oil changes ago. was wipeing off some dirt up there and snap. [freak]. I got 37 on a trip a few weeks before that. easy to see over 500 miles from a tank of gas.
