i have a question i got an 08 si sedan with nav is there a way to watch dvds on the stock nav unit


also where can i find a nice lip 4 my sedan ????

 

theres only 1 company that i know of that has been doing the navi / dvd hack. If i recall correctly the company is NavTv. http://www.navtv.com the only downfall is that you have to ship your unit to them so they can work their magic.

 

Do you know by any chance how evasive the modifications are?

Hey it looks like they can integrate night vision and back up cameras too. Pretty cool.

 

All i know is that its an internal modification so they disassemble your unit (voiding your audio warranty) and do some wiring/soldering inside the unit. Creates an aux input and then u still need an external DVD player

 

That's sort of lame. If that's the case one would probably be better off selling their oem unit and buying aftermarket.
